Hello everyone,

I'm stopping by to update my progress...So next month Sept. will be a year that I've been coming to Fitnex. I had my yearly physical and got some great news about how much healthier I am and the difference it's made within a year of changing my eating habits and training. Don't be fooled though it wasn't easy. About 3 months ago I was close to reaching my goal weight of 135, I was about 5lbs away. I got comfortable, felt more confident and wanted to go out and show off my new self. So I did and little by little, missed a few training sessions, made some not so good choices on food and I began to feel the difference. I started feeling slugish, energy level was down and just not motivated. Aaron was there the whole time still believing in me trying to push and patiently waiting for me to realize it on my own but at the time I was having too much fun and wasn't listening. He never threw in the towel and gave up on me though, he stuck it out. Well sure enough I weighed myself and yes I gained 5 lbs back. I was devasted but could only blame myself. I wasn't going to let this set me back I'd come too far. I got over it and decided to step up my game back up and start from ground zero. I started South Beach Phase 1 (what I did a year ago) and re-dedicated myself to showing up to train and just basically told myself that I did it before and I could do it again. It's been two weeks and Phase 1 is over. I'm now down to 138lbs, lost 5 inches and feel great! When its obvious that the goals can't be reached, don't adjust the goals; adjust the action steps..that's what I did and it worked!!!
